Brewers Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Uecker had a surprise guest in the radio booth during Saturday night's game between Milwaukee and Washington: Nationals slugger Adam Dunn. Dunn was not in the starting lineup and dropped in during the bottom of the second inning to talk to the 75-year-old announcer who returned to the booth on Friday night for the first time since undergoing heart surgery.

The Washington Nationals recalled Collin Balester from Triple-A Syracuse before their game against Milwaukee on Saturday. He replaces right-hander Luis Atilano, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday with bone chips in his right elbow. Balester has not pitched for Washington this season after going 1-4 with a 6.82 ERA in seven starts last season.
