The New York Mets have scratched left-hander Johan Santana from his scheduled start Tuesday. The team announced the move Sunday in Chicago after Santana threw a bullpen session at Wrigley Field. The team did not say when Santana would return to action. Santana left his previous start Thursday after five innings, with what the team called a left pectoral strain. He thought he was well enough to take his next turn, and by all accounts his bullpen session Sunday went well.
