Washington Nationals prospect Stephen Strasburg allowed three runs in five innings in a minor league start for the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs on Saturday night against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed six hits and two walks, and surrendered his first professional home run to former major leaguer Rene Rivera in the third inning.
